Planning a trip to Azilal, the Ouzoud waterfalls or the Aït Bouguemez valley? This guide explains how to rent a car, SUV or motorbike through RentalMe. Booking steps, vehicles, budget and mountain driving tips.
Azilal is a mountain town in central Morocco's Atlas, and the province around it is home to the Ouzoud waterfalls, the Aït Bouguemez valley (often called the "Happy Valley") and the Bin El Ouidane lake. A car rental in Azilal turns these places into an itinerary you control: leave for the waterfalls early, stop at viewpoints along the way, or spend a few days in the valleys without depending on fixed transport schedules.
RentalMe is a Moroccan marketplace that connects renters with professional rental agencies. It is not a rental agency itself. Before you travel, you can compare the offers and conditions of several agencies, then rent the car, motorbike or van that matches your route and budget.
Good reasons to rent a vehicle in Azilal:
Booking on RentalMe takes a few steps:
The rental agreement is signed with the agency when you collect the vehicle.
Requirements vary by agency, so ask before you book:
The best way to pick a vehicle is to match it to your route:
Budget: rental prices generally go from 100 DH to 700 DH per day, depending on vehicle category, season and agency.
If you need an automatic gearbox, a child seat, a roof rack or an additional driver, ask the agency before you book.
Day trip idea: Azilal → Ouzoud waterfalls → back to Azilal. A compact car is usually enough if you stay on paved roads.
Multi-day loop idea: Azilal → Aït Bouguemez valley → Demnate → back to Azilal. Mountain roads call for a vehicle with more clearance; ask the agency about road conditions before you leave.
Driving in Azilal province is about mountain roads, bends and open landscapes rather than city traffic. A few habits make the trip easier:
Beyond the daily price, several elements change the final cost of a rental: the rental duration, the pick-up place, the fuel policy and extras such as an additional driver or a child seat. Ask the agency what is included, what the insurance covers and what the deposit is before you pay, and read the rental contract carefully before you sign it.
If you are planning a longer stay in the region, ask the agencies about their long-term rental conditions. More guides are available on the RentalMe blog.
No. RentalMe is a Moroccan marketplace that connects renters with professional rental agencies in Morocco. The vehicles belong to the agencies, which set their own conditions.
Rental prices generally go from 100 DH to 700 DH per day, depending on vehicle category, season and agency. Compare the offers on RentalMe to find the one that fits your budget.
If you stay on paved roads, an economy or compact car is usually enough. If you plan to continue into the mountains or onto rougher roads, choose an SUV or a 4x4 and check the agency's conditions.
It depends on the agency: at its office or at an agreed meeting point, such as your hotel. You can also look for offers in a nearby city such as Beni Mellal. Always confirm the exact place and time with the agency.
Modification and cancellation conditions depend on each agency. Read them carefully before you confirm.
