Berkane, nicknamed the citrus capital of Morocco's Oriental region, lies on the Triffa plain between the Beni Snassen mountains and the Mediterranean. Whether you are planning a beach holiday in Saïdia, a business trip in the region or a family getaway, car rental in Berkane remains the most flexible way to enjoy the city and its surroundings.
Before going further, one important point: RentalMe is a Moroccan marketplace that connects travelers with professional car, motorbike and van rental agencies. It is not a rental agency: it is a platform for exploring offers from several agencies in one place.
Here are the main benefits of a rental car in Berkane:
- Complete freedom to plan your trips to Saïdia, Oujda, Nador or the Beni Snassen
- Access to places poorly served by public transport
- The option to compare offers from several agencies
- Flexibility for family, group or business travel
How to Rent a Car in Berkane Step by Step
Renting a car in Berkane takes just a few simple steps:
- Set your dates and pick-up location. Decide whether you will collect the vehicle in town or at Oujda-Angads airport.
- Start your search on RentalMe. Look for offers that match your city or departure airport and the type of vehicle you need.
- Compare the offers. For each offer, check the fuel policy, mileage, insurance and deposit. Take the time to read the terms before confirming.

- Keep a record of your booking. Save the confirmation so you can show it at pick-up.

Pick-Up Points in Berkane and Arriving from Oujda Airport
Pick-up is when you collect your vehicle: inspection, handing over the keys, checking the fuel level. Here are the main options and good practices:
- Berkane town centre – Convenient if you are already there or staying in town.
- Oujda-Angads airport – The closest airport to Berkane. After your flight, you can collect a vehicle there and drive straight to Berkane or Saïdia, if the agency offers this pick-up point.
- Delivery to your accommodation – Some agencies may offer to hand over the vehicle at your address: ask about the conditions.
- Return – Choose a drop-off location that fits your itinerary. Fees may apply if the return location differs from the pick-up location: check with the agency.
Practical Tips Before Renting a Car in Berkane
Preparing your rental in advance helps you avoid unpleasant surprises during the trip:
- Check with the agency the age and driving licence requirements and the documents requested for each driver.
- Ask about the payment method and deposit: requirements vary from one agency to another.
- Read the terms and conditions carefully before booking, especially the insurance policy and any excess.
- Photograph every imperfection on the vehicle before pick-up, and do the same at return.
